Arielle Campos Writes Prize-Winning Ethhics Essay

Winners of the Augustana Center for the Study of Ethics 2012 Ethics Essay Contest were recently announced.

Arielle Campos, a junior from Sterling, Ill., earned third place with an essay titled "Segmentation and Segregation." Campos is a business administration-marketing and art major at Augustana College

According to Dr. Dan Lee, professor of religion and director of the Center for the Study of Ethics, 20 essays were submitted for consideration. Essays were judged anonymously, and judging was conducted by faculty of another college.

The Augustana Center for the Study of Ethics was established to enrich the teaching-learning experiences for Augustana students by providing greater opportunities for them to meet and interact with community leaders and to encourage discussions of issues of ethical significance through campus programs and community outreach.
