Augustana students commissioned to draw maps for book

2014 Mar 28

At Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill., Dr. Jennifer Burnham's cartography class was commissioned by Dr. Curt Roseman '63 to draw maps for his book entitled, "A Century of Players, Performers, and Pageants: Wharton Field House and Browning Field, Moline, Illinois."

Among those students contributing to the book:

Aaron Trost, an Augustana student majoring in Geography from Kankakee.

Co-written by Dr. Roseman and Diann Moore, the book brings the history of Moline and the Quad Cities to life for future generations. Seven of the students' maps were further selected for publication.
