Mark Marogil Featured in Augustana Sights and Sounds

The 2012 Sights and Sounds exhibition will celebrate the artistic and musical talents of Augustana College students. Mark Marogil, a senior from Moline, Ill., majoring in buisness administration-finance is involved in the 2012 Sights and Sounds exhibition.

Held at Bucktown Center for the Arts in Davenport, Iowa, and opening on Friday, Jan. 27, at 6 p.m., the free event will feature music and distinctive photography from Augustana students, as well as photography from Quad-Cities high school students. The exhibition will run through Friday, Feb. 24.

The Augustana Photo Bureau, student-musicians and MidCoast Fine Arts are coordinating this event during Bucktown's monthly Final Friday art show. MidCoast Fine Arts is a non-profit agency created by artists to promote regional artists and cultural organizations that advance the quality of life and marketability within the Quad Cities. The Bucktown Center for the Arts opened in 2005 as a creative community for local artists.
