Augustana College recognized 555 students at the college's 165th commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 24.

Augustana College recognized 624 students at the college's 163rd commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 27. The Class of 2023 is the most diverse class in Augustana's 163-year history, with graduates hailing from 20 countries including the United States and 24 U.S. states.

Fourteen Augustana College juniors have been selected for the Texas Medical Center Summer Research Internship Program. The students were selected to take part in the paid, full-time, 10-week experience at the Texas Medical Center in Houston this summer.

Two Augustana College environmental studies majors presented at the Southeastern Fishes Council conference hosted at the Tennessee Aquarium Conservation Institute on Nov.16 - Nov.18.

Augustana College student leaders in the water line inventory project presented data from their research at the Nov. 27 Rock Island City Council meeting. Augustana announced a partnership with the city of Rock Island to identify the city's service lines in July 2022. The college's Center for the Advancement of Community Health and Wellness and Upper Mississippi Center assisted in gathering data for the multi-year initiative.

Augustana College mens' basketball senior Daniel Carr has been named an Academic All-American by College Sports Communicators - one of the highest honors for collegiate student-athletes. He is the 178th Academic All-American in the history of Augustana, which ranks No. 1 in the CCIW and seventh in NCAA Division III in number of Academic All-Americans.
